For licensed agents
Can I post listings that are not mine on Facebook Marketplace?
Only listings you have permission to market. Your own brokerage's inventory follows your brokerage's rules, and a listing held by another brokerage needs written permission from the listing agent or the managing broker first.
Why permission comes first
The listing belongs to the seller and is represented by the listing brokerage. Marketing it is their call, so the yes has to come from them.
What a good yes looks like
Written, naming the address, how long it lasts and any conditions. Some brokerages grant a blanket yes across their inventory and some go listing by listing.
What Listing AutomatEr does here
It builds the post, names you as the agent marketing the home, credits the listing brokerage and adds the marketing on behalf of line. It does not get permission for you.
Common questions
What if I never hear back?
Treat silence as a no and do not post that listing.
