Security

What the app stores, and what it never sees

The full detail lives on the data disclosure page and the privacy policy. Here's the short version, in plain terms.

Your Facebook password, never seen

The app never asks for your Facebook password. It rides on the Facebook session already open in your Chrome browser, the same session you signed into yourself. Nothing about that login is stored on our side.

What your card looks like to us: nothing

Card numbers, CVCs, and full billing details go straight from your screen to Stripe's servers. They never pass through ours.

Your password

Your account password is hashed with bcrypt before it's stored. We never hold a plaintext copy of it and never have access to one.

Where your listing data comes from

Listings you import come from your brokerage system, the same export tool most brokerage systems already give you in the agent dashboard. You export a CSV, and the app maps the fields, address, price, beds and baths, photos, and description.

What isn't collected

Listing content, buyer messages, photos, your Facebook account identifiers, session cookies, and any other Meta session token are not collected by the app's telemetry. Only routing metadata and our own operational error strings are transmitted.

Deletion

To request deletion of your data, email john@listingautomater.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" from the email address on your account. No account or login is required to make the request. The full process is on the data deletion page.
